About the owners:

We are Paul & Lynnette Blanco. We have been happily married for almost twenty years & have been in the wedding industry together for seven, however, Lynnette has been a local business owner in the industry for over THIRTY! Simultaneously as both a Hairstylist as Glam Salon De Couture doing hair/makeup for weddings & as a Decorator/Event Planner as Concept To Creation, which she then turned into Glam Luxury Candy & Dessert Buffets in 2017 with the addition of doing out of this world dessert displays to her already thriving businesses.

I became a BBQ Pitmaster in 2012 & won my first competition as Sweet Racks & Smokin’ Butts in 2016. Since, I have won several awards, including “Grand Champion”, for my Ribs, Brisket, Pulled Pork & Prime Rib.

We catered many weddings & events together between 2017-2020 at several different venues before taking the hand picked knowledge we gained to create The Gathering At Bailey Creek in 2020! It was an extremely natural progression into venue ownership for us, we absolutely believe we were meant to meet one another, to share our gifts, by hosting superior events for this wonderful community! Together we make an unstoppable team..we both share the same unbelievably high standards, dedication & passion for our craft & we will never stop striving for growth & improvement!

Our Facility

The Gathering At Bailey Creek features 20 ft white tin decorative ceilings, rough cut wood trim, a plethora of crystal chandeliers & mirrors, whitewashed board & batten interior, 16’ boxwood greenery & brick German Schmear accent walls, 16’ fireplace with barn beam mantle, permanent floral installations, floral chandlers & sheer draping, barn doors, French doors, 10ft lighted ficus trees w/ hanging votives, a 58” round cable spool suspended table, several buffet tables, wine barrel table, French flower cart, wooden bar with upright cooler, coffee station, 6x 9’ barn tables, 7x 6’ round tables, 155 Champagne chavari chairs, 150 white folding chairs, several rockers, benches, yard games, lounge furniture, boho isle rugs & vinyl “plank” distressed flooring…& we will never stop acquiring more inventory or making improvements to the property! Over night cabins, a beautiful pavilion & a screened in porch with bed swings are just a few of the plans we have for the future!

WHAT’S NOT INCLUDED IN YOUR VENUE’S PACKAGES?

WHAT IS THE EARLIEST TIME WE CAN ACCESS THE VENUE TO GET READY & WHAT TIME DO WE NEED TO VACATE THE PREMISES ON EVENT DAY?

ANSWER

7AM is the earliest & all events end at 10pm according to the town’s sound ordinance. We give you time to gather your belongings or you may return the next morning (9-10AM) to retrieve them.

DO WE HAVE ACCESS TO THE VENU THE ENTIRE WEEKEND? OR, DO YOU BOOK MULTIPLE WEDDINGS PER WEEKEND?

ANSWER
Because we do all of the set/clean up, we manage, coordinate & sometimes cater your event, it’s very rare that we book 2 weddings in the same weekend, with that being said there ARE a few times a year (mostly in fall) that we DO have to do so. Yes, you can accesses the venue the entire weekend but you will not need to do so because we do everything for you! We will even gather your belongings for you & put them aside if you wish. You will have a scheduled rehearsal time.

CAN WE HAVE ALCOHOL? DO YOU HAVE A NYS LIQUOR LICENSE & DO WE NEED EVENT INSURANCE?

ANSWER
Yes to all! We require event insurance for every wedding & you must include the venue on the policy. & if you’re having alcohol, the policy must include liquor liability. We have a certified bartender on staff.

CAN WE USE ANY VENDORS OF OUR CHOOSING OR ONLY THE VENDORS ON YOUR PREFERRED LIST?

ANSWER
It’s your day! Your choice! We will do as much or as little as you would like us too. All outside vendors must be insured.

DO YOU HAVE ALCOHOL & NON ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGE PACKAGES?

ANSWER
Yes! But you can bring in your own for a fraction of the price! Catering menu & pricing available upon request.

DO YOU HAVE OVERNIGHT ACCOMMODATIONS?

ANSWER
Not at this time, but plan on having some in the future! In the meantime, there are AirB&B’s & several hotels 5 minutes away, some that have shuttles for use! Taxis, Ubers, food deliveries, large buses all come up here!

DO YOU HAVE WiFi?

ANSWER
Yes!

DO YOU SUPPLY ICE?

ANSWER
We have a chest freezer in our bar shed that holds 170 pounds of ice. We try & keep it stocked, but you may need to bring some, depending on what you’re serving at the bar.
